Personal Information
Reg Johnstone has been one of chuckwagon racing’s greatest champions for the past 4 decades. Reg was the 2005 World Champion Chuckwagon Driver and won the 2005 WPCA Dodge Pro Tour Championship becoming the first chuckwagon to capture both championships in the same year. 2009 saw Reg post 18 top ten runs, including 1 first place run and 10 runs that cracked the top five. He won the Medicine Hat Stampede for the 2nd time in his career and top ten overall finishes at the Grande Prairie Stompede and the Calgary Stampede were his best of the year. Reg has qualified for the Calgary Stampede?Rangeland Derby’s sudden death championship final heat 3 times, has won 35 show championships over the course of his career, and has had 2 horses named to the WPCA's Equine Outfit of Excellence. Reg is consistently one of the top performers both on and off the racetrack. He holds the track record for the old Calgary Stampede track, and has been a top promoter of chuckwagon racing to the many tourists attending the Calgary Stampede and WPCA Dodge Pro Tour shows. Reg has three children Wade (Butch), Barbara, and Jason and 3 grandchildren. Reg and Marilyn make their home in Bashaw, Alberta.
