Personal Information
Jason Glass is a 4th generation World Champion chuckwagon driver. Jason won the WPCA Dodge Pro Tour Championship for the 1st time in his career and for the 2nd consecutive year, and the 3rd time in his career, Jason was the World Champion Chuckwagon Driver. In 2009 Jason won the Grande Prairie Stompede and the Red Deer Chuckwagon Championship, and for the 3rd time he had a horse named to the WPCA Equine Outfit of Excellence. He posted 33 top ten runs including 7 first place runs and 13 runs that cracked the top five. He placed in the top 10 overall at 9 of 11 show championships, with all but one placing inside the top five overall. He qualified for 4 sudden death championship final heats at the Grande Prairie Stompede, the WPCA Dodge Pro Tour Championship, the Battle of the North and Edmonton’s Chuckwagon Derby. Jason is a 2-time Calgary Stampede Aggregate winner, won the Calgary Stampede's Mullen Group Safe Drive Award for least penalized driver and outrode for 2 Calgary Stampede Rangeland Derby Championship outfits and 3 Calgary Stampede Aggregate winners. Jason won the WPCA Clean Drive Award in 2008, was the WPCA's Top Rookie Driver in 1989, Top Rookie Outrider in 1987, received the WPCA's Most Improved Chuckwagon Outfit Award in 1990, and was WPCA’s Most Improved Outrider in 1988. Jason is a 4th generation chuckwagon champion, whose father Tom Glass, grandfather Ronnie Glass, and great-grandfather Tom Lauder are some of the greatest names in the sport has ever known. Jason works in the movie industry as a stuntman and actor in the off-season, and has worked in the company of stars such as Eddie Murphy, Owen Wilson, Jackie Chan and Robert Duvall. Jason and his new bride Brienne make their home in High River, Alberta.
