Edmonton Canvas Auction To Be Held On Tuesday, March 16, 2010 at 6:00pm.

The 2nd Chuckwagon canvas auction for 2010 will take place on Tuesday, March 16, 2010 at the Alberta Ballroom in Edmonton Expo Center at Northlands Park - 116 Avenue & Wayne Gretzky Drive in Edmonton. It will be for the WPCA Dodge World Chuckwagon Championships. The reception will start at 6:00pm, with the auction at 7:00pm. Everyone is invited to attend and try to be a successful bidder so to become part of a professional chuckwagon outfit.

Becoming a canvas sponsor is an opportunity for anyone to secure their back stage pass to one of the most entertaining sports in the world – WPCA Chuckwagon Racing. Canvas partners get the opportunity to be associated with World Class athletes in one of Alberta’s most watched sports. Last year’s canvas auction totaled $285,500.00 for the 36 participating drivers. Bidding will done live with online bidding available through www.halfmileofhell.com.

The WPCA Dodge World Chuckwagon Championships is the season ending event where the World Champion Chuckwagon Driver, the World Champion Outrider, and the Edmonton Chuckwagon Derby champions will be all crowned. The event itself will run from September 1-5, 2010 at Northlands in Edmonton. Tickets will go on sale in May 2010.
