Top 4 chuckwagons in the aggregate standings after the first 9 days of racing qualify for the sudden death championship final heat. Top chuckwagon in the aggregate after 9 days wins the Richard Cosgrave Memorial Award. Winner of the sudden death heat wins the Calgary Stampede Rangeland Derby Championship.
