Standings

The driver’s race results are based on time. Each race runs for 3-10 days, 9-12 heats per day and has 3-4 drivers per heat. The drivers rotate daily through barrel starting positions. The overall time is based on the time to finish the race and any penalties that add to the finish time. After all the heats and times have been finalized, drivers are awarded points for their finishing position for the day.

The World Standings results are based on points. Points are awarded from the place in the daily races. For example, if on Day 1, a driver places first than he will be awarded 36 points (out of 36 drivers) or if a driver places last than he will receive 1 point. The aggregate points from all the races create the overall standings.

Each year, at each race, there can only be one victor. See the list of champions at all 13 locations.
