Dinner, Dance, Auction

Location: 5 Mile Hall (located 3 miles East of Grande Prairie on 100th Ave. Turn N on Range Road 53. Hall is visible on corner.)

Cocktails: 6-7 p.m.
Catered Meal: 7:00 p.m.
Dance, silent auction, and draws to follow

Join us in celebrating our chuckwagon culture and heritage, with special recognition for past and current heritage foundation supporters. All persons attending will have a chance to win spectacular door prizes!

Our mandate is the preservation of 86 years of western chuckwagon heritage, supporting local charities, and working with other local and like minded organizations, such as the Grande Prairie Stompede, Chamber of Commerce, and chuckwagon groups, to promote chuckwagon racing and tourism revenue in our community.

In 2009, the founding year, the Grande Prairie Chuckwagon Heritage Foundation raised $62,000.00 with help from our 45 local sponsors. The money was used for a “$50,000.00 dollar Sunday”, with $3000.00 to PARDS. Through fundraising efforts we have also purchased a portable display that will be used to showcase the history of chuck wagon racing in our area.

Tickets: $40/each. Children under 10: free

Cheques, donations, or door prizes can be mailed to 5602 Taylor Way, Grande Prairie, AB. T8W 0H3, Attn: Patsy Smith. Cheques are payable to the Grande Prairie Chuckwagon Heritage Foundation.

Currently the Grande Prairie Chuckwagon Heritage Foundation is requesting Silent Auction items from any drivers or supporters that are able to contribute.
